When we plunged into 2025, we announced the announcement of our latest group of heroes AWS! These exceptional individuals have shown excellent expertise and innovation and are determined to share knowledge. Their contributions to the AWS community are very taught and today we are excited to celebrate them.

Ahmed Bebars – New Jersey, USA

Ahmed Bebars container hero is the main engineer in New York Times, where he leads the design and supply of scalable platforms for developers that increase the productive and empower engineering team. Thanks to deep expertise in containers, Kubernetes and Cloud-Nantive technologies, AHMED builds a robust infrastructure solution that makes development procedures more efficient and supports innovations. As an active member of indigenous AWS and cloud communities, he often shares his expertise on events such as Kubecon, AWS Re: Invent, AWS Community Days and Kubernetes Community Days. Through its Level Up With Ahmed initiative shares practical knowledge and resources to help engineers develop their skills and stay forward in the evolving technological environment.

Badri Narayanan Kesavan – Singapore

Community hero Badri Narayanan Kesavan is an architect of technical management and solutions with more than decades of professional experience, specializing in AWS cloud solutions, platform and DevOPS automation. Badri’s passion consists in learning and sharing with the community. He gave several interviews at the AWS Singapur Summit, AWS Summit ASEAN 2023, AWS Community Days and various meetings of user groups. As the active leader of the AWS community, he organized meetings and workshops within the AWS Singapore Group, where he regularly performs sessions on various AWS topics and is involved in a wide audience to support innovations and cooperation. He has also written the book “Mastering Amazon EC2)”, a guide to understanding the creation of robust and durable applications on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2).

Marcelo Paiva – Goiânia, Brazil

The community hero Marcelo Paiva has more than 30 years of technology experience and is the CTO at SoftPrime Solções, the manager of product development and digital biometry research, facial recognition and artificial intelligence (AI). With more than ten years of working with cloud computing, it specializes in building scalable and innovative AWS solutions. Marcedo passionate for technology communities founded a group of AWS users in Goânia in 2018 and helped the growth of the local community. Today he organized events such as ConnowCLUNITY and Cloud Summit Cerrado, supported learning and network networks in certainty.

Raphael Jamblos – Quezon City, Philippines

Community hero Raphael Jambalos The Cloud Native Development Team on Ecloudvalley Philippines. His team implemented dozens of cloud natives across several industries for customers in the Philippines. It is active in helping AWS groups grow in the Philippines and is a passionate connection with the community outside Manila. In his free time he loves reading books and writing about cloud technologies on his blog.

Status of Pokakovski – Tel Aviv, Israel

Container Hero Status Pokakovski is an engineer Devops at Beacon and a cyber safety expert who controls a highly scaled multi-cloud. With the background in engineering and teaching devops, the condition smoothly moved to the dynamic initial scene in cyber security. The container technology champion and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) brings deep expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD pipes and AWS login solutions. He actively shares his expertise by talking at AWS community events, as well as conference on security and container. He is also the leader of the Israel AWS user and is a graduate of the school and a license captain.
