As the weather improves in the northern hemisphere, there are more opportunities for learning and connection. This week I will be in San Francisco and we can meet in Nova Networking Night at AWS Genai Loft, where it will delve into the world of Amazon Nova Foundation models (FMS) with live demos and real world implementations.
AWS PI DAY It is now a year’s tradition. It started in 2021 as a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Amazon S3. This year, in -depth discussion with AWS products will take place on how to create a data basis for the unified trouble -free experience, manage and use data for analysis and workload AI. Join us online and learn about the latest innovations through practical demonstrations and ask questions during our interactive living current.
Start of Last Week
Another busy week, here are launched on the market that caught me.
Amazon Q Developer – Now you can use an improved agent with N Amazon Q command line (CLI) to give you more dynamic conversations, help you read and write files locally, ask AWS sources, or create a code. This improved CLI reagent is still powered by the most intelligent model Anthropic, Claude 3.7 Sonet. Read more about this experience of coding AO coding and how to try it. Here is the visual demo of the new capacity Amazon Q Cli, Nathan Peck.
Amazon Q Business – Now it supports the ingestion of audio and video data. This ability makes information more efficient, increases knowledge sharing, and improves decision -making processes by multimedia content as searchable and accessible as textual documents.
Amazon Bedrock – Bed data automation is now generally available, so you can automate the generation of valuable knowledge from non -model content, such as documents, images, video and audio files. Find out more and see the code examples in my blog post. Amazon Bedrock’s knowledge bases are now also available. Graphrag is an ability that increases search generation (RAG) by incorporating graphic data and provides more comprehensive and explained responsibility by using relationships within your data and improving the Howrarative AI AI AI applications and synthesizing information.
Amazon Nova -Amazon Nova for Foundation Model now latency-optimized inference in preview of Amazon Bedrock, allowing faster response time and improved sensitivity for generative AI applications.
AWS Step – Workflow Studio for VS Code is now available, a visual creator that you can use to create workflows on canvas. In the background you can generate the definition of workflow and create workflows in local development environment. Read more about this local improved experience of IDE.
AWS LAMBDA – Now Amazon Cloudwatch Live Tail in VS code. Previously, they introduced support for Live Tail in the Lambda console to simplify how you can view and analyze Lambda in real time. Now you can also monitor Lambda logs in real time while staying with the development of vs. code.
AWS AMPLIFY -Now supports httponly cookies for Next.js server when using Amazon Cognito login. Becuse cookies with httponly attribute cannot be accessed by javascript, your applications can get another layer of protection against scripting between the cross points (XSS).
Amazon Cognito -You can customize access tokens for machine flows to the machine (M2M) that bring you to implement fine -grained authorization in your applications, APIs and workload. Avoriation M2M is commonly used for automated trails, such as planned data synchronization tasks, workflows that are determined, communication microservisses or streaming data in real time services between systems.
AWS CODEBUILD -Now is built on Linux X86 supports, arms and windows on request directly on the host operating system without containerization. In this way, you can now make assembly commands that require direct access to the host system sources or have specific requirements that cause demanding containerization. For example, this is useful in creating equipment drivers, starting a system level, or working with tools that require the host computer to access. Codebuild also added support for node 22, Python 3.13 and GO 1,23 in Linux X86, ARM, Windows and MacOS PlatformMSMS.
Bottlerocket -Open source source system for containers now supports GPU (MIG) NVIDIA to help divide the GPU NVIDIA into more more GPU instances on Kubernetes and maximize the use of GPU resources. Bottlerocket has now accelerated the AWS neuron types of instances and provides the default image of the bootstrap container that simplifies the system settings.
Amazon Gamelift -Nantroduction Amazon Gamelift Streams, a new managed ability that developers can use to stream games up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second in any device with a webrtc browser. If you want to learn more, explore the Donnie blog post.
Amazon FSX for NetApp Ontap -March 5, 2025, was eliminated with Snaplock licensing fees for data stored in Snaplock volumes, which makes it more cost -effective.
