When you are a new student, a prosperous startup or a large enterprise, you have financial restrictions and you need to know what you spend, where they spend and how to plan the future. No one wants a surprise when it comes to an account, and that is where Microsoft’s cost management comes.

We are constantly looking for ways to learn more about your challenges and how Microsoft’s cost management can help you better understand where you are in the cloud, identify and prevent bad expenditure formulas and optimize costs that allow you to do more with less. Here are several late improvements and updates based on your feedback:

Let’s kick in detail::

AKS Optimization Cost (Azure Kubernetes Service)

Starting your applications on AKS clusters can significantly reduce the cost of optimizing resource use, automation, and facilitate shared infrastructure. AKS allows you to set resources limits, ensure efficient use of resources and prevent excessive provision. Its car shows adjust the number of pods and nodes based on demand, so you only pay for what you need. Effective data transfer and communication between clusters AKS helps reduce the cost of the network. In addition, you can run multiple applications in the same cluster and reduce the need for a separate infrastructure.

In the cost analysis, you can use Kubernetes viewing to get visibility in granular costs of your AKS clusters. Views provide you with the visibility of the cost of the names running on your clusters and an aggregated view of the cost of all resources running in your clusters. You simply have to install the cost analysis add -on to the cluster to allow this experience for your Azure subscription.

These views also provide you with the visibility of the cost of idle clusters. Simply idle costs indicate that you do not work fully with the capacity of your resources, resulting in insufficient use.

The good news is that Azure provides you with various tools that minimize your inact costs, and I strongly recommend using a rich set of AKS cost optimization. Clumps and applications can be set up Autoscaling You want to minimize waste, use Automatic nodes For deciding on optimal VM configuration and use Azure Monitor Managed Service for Prometheus Follow use metrics. You can also optimize your cost of VM using point VM and use of savings tools such as reservations and savings plans.

All options available to optimize AKS cost are very well explained in the article below:

AWS (Azure Web Services) Removing the connector

AWS connector as soon as it has been created for the end of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud costs in the cost of cost management, Microsoft,will be downloaded 31. March 2025. You will lose access to the connector and the price of AWS costs and use stored in the cost management service, included historical data, and will be removed. Please note that within the connector settings we will not delete the cost files and the use of the CUR (CUR) that you saved in the S3 bucket in the AWS.

Please go to the selection of cost management reports for AWS and follow the instructions and remove your connector to the AWS in the Azure portal.

As shown in one of our previous blogs, balancing data in a standard focus format (cost and use costs), and using analytics and reports as a Microsoft Fabric is a great way to analyze and report reports from different sources.

Replacement of Azure Openai reservations provided

As you may already know, you can enjoy considerable discounts with Azure Openisiosed Reserves compared to standard AS-You-go prices. You can lock for low rats for reserved capacity and ensure that you have the resources needed to start your powerful AI models. Last month (February 2025), for greater flexibility for managing your reservations, We allowed the replacement for the reservations provided directly on the Azure portal. You still have the opportunity to apply for a refund. If you want to learn more about the management of your reservations, please give this article.
